Engineering!?!?

I am interested in engineering. I am a junior at an advanced collrgr prep school. I am currently in college chemistry and calculus. I was just wondering what is the difference between all the different types of engineering? What is a god school to go to for it, preferably in the midwest? How about KU? What is the work load like incollege and then the workload of the actual job? Just would love to have some basic information. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY!!!! Thanx in advance!!
