In the last scene of the movie the writer types f-u-c-k-. he is a successfull writer getting a divorce. help?!

the guy was a one hit wonder of sorts...because his ability too write has been consumed by everything going on surrounding his divorce. he has a daughter. she lives with her mother. and has just turned 13 years of age. one of her friends calls her mother to inform her that her daughter is in trouble. the parents show up to the party just as she is about to smoke some pot. just as she bebins to inhale the dad heroicly swoops in and grabs her picks her up and carries here out of there please help i cannot think of who is in the movie or the title...please help. what movie is this???????.
