How can I get closure?

So I have really liked this guy for about 5 months now. About 2 months ago he found out ii liked him via someone tellng him. This made me feel extremly awkward and unable to talk to him anymore. Yet 2 months on a still like him a rediculous amount. I'm sure that it's not normal concoderin I havnt spoken to him in months. I think the only way I could get over him is if I know for sure that he doesn't like me like that like by him telling me bluntly, yet how could I get such a thing from him. Oherwise how the heck can I find closure. I'm 17 btw if that helps.
