Nikkor 18-200mm VR ED Lens Zoom?

I'm a new DSLR camera user...learned many things by past few months..one thing I'd really like to know that are there any particular good settings to take snaps in more than 100mm...say like 150mm or even at full 200mm(through a Nikkor 18-200 VR ED Lens),Camera I'm using is Nikon D200.Whenever I go for longer zoom say above 100...150..or 200..the sharpness of images reduces a lot.I tried with all focus points as well as tried different aperture.Are there any settings or combination of settings like Shutter Speed+Aperture+ISO etc through which I can take sharp images of far objects using maximum zoom(200mm) or it is by default that ,as I zoom higher...the sharpness also starts decreasing.

it will work but why would you want to do that you can feel the babies heart on your own. i wouldn't recommend it though because then if you hear something funny you going to get all panic. and it will most likely be nothing.

Ok, at my house theres a pecan pie in the refrigerator just calling my name! I WANT TO EAT IT SOOO BAD. The only thing that seems to stop me is that im allergic to peanuts. BUT im NOT allergic to cashews or almonds, and i thinking pecans because i do remember eating one once, but im not sure and i don't feel like getting hives right now if im wrong. Can anyone help me? should i try a bite of the pie or leave my stomach empty?

How long are contestants actually kept in their solitary pods (from the beginning to the end of the show)? Like is it a few days, weeks, months, what? Ive been looking for it on the internet but cant find it.
