I am putting up oak paneled walls. i am wondering should i buy all the oak from the same place?

i went and got most of the boards at a lumber yard. then i needed more i went to lowes and was going to buy some and then i put them back thinking that maybe i should get them from the same place so they will stain all the same. would this matter when you start staining them? i noticed that on my kitchen cabinets that the doors are a lighter color than the cabinets. a different guy made the doors that made the cabinets.
