I teach seventh grade Math. Is it racist to not let a student go to the bathroom because he's Jewish?

Last week, the Jewish boy in our cl asked to use the bathroom. I told him that he couldn't, that Israel didn't let Palestinians in Gaza go to the bathroom when they wanted, so he shouldn't be able to. He ended up wetting his pants, and I ended up getting suspended. They might even fire me. How can I defend myself? After all, I was standing up for the underdog. These kids shouldn't just learn math, but also to take the side of the weaker side.
