Please help me I am FREAKED OUT! What Is happening?

Ok. Now this is something that happens to me every one in a while and when it does it scares me sh*tless. Some examples of this is once i woke up to go and use the bathroom (note I am fully awake) and I come back out to go to bed and when I went back to the doorway into my bedroom I saw giant tentacles coming out of my bed and started flailing around at witch point I obviously ran in the opposite direction screaming in absolute terror. Once sense came back to me I warily made my way back to the doorway and I found that it was not there (no surprise) and I think that it is worth mentioning that In each of these examples that something that happened earlier in the day was in some way connected to the horror that occured. Like, in the previous example I watched the discovery channel program "Blue Earth" in witch squids were shown. Another example possibly the scariest one of all was in witch I awoke and found that there were lobsters crawling around in the bed with me. When I saw this I just bolted out of my bed and floor that my room was on and was screening bloody murder because of the fact that the lobsters didn't have rubber bands on their claws and the fact that they scare me anyways when they aren't crawling on me. And when I got the courage to go back they weren't there (Note: when they were in the bed with me I could actually FEEL them). And this related to the earlier day because we cooked fresh live lobsters for dinner. Any help and or knowledge on what and or why this scary stuff is happening to me is MUCH appreciated.

I have a 2002 Mercury Sable, in pretty good shape. I was getting in the car today, got in and heard a horrible gl like breaking sound from under the car. I got out and looked, did not see anything in particular. I then got back in started it up hit reverse and the front drivers side tire went flat. i tried to look around to try and see something under it, but couldnt see anything. I tend to agree with "old lady" that you might improve the scene by showing rather then telling the reader what is happening. However, I did not find it difficult to follow the action or keep the characters straight. You seem to be on the right track and should worry less about if it is working--it is--and work more on involving the reader in the action. Go for it.

Diabetic, need adivce please.?

I am going to get a confirmed test soon, becase I've been putting it off for literally 'years' - probably because I didn't want the diagnosis but I go to pee a lot, drink bottle after bottle of water and feel If I go more than a minute without water I'm dehydrating fatally, on top of that the worst bit of course is the fatigue which has been explained in terms of ailments ranging from Depression (which im being treated for) to burnout from a stressful lifestyle (which is also true) - so my question is finally, what do diabetics do about the fatigue? does it ever go away or get controlled by treatment? How can eating sugar free foods actually fight the fatigue when sugar/glucose is the main energy source in humans. Anyone with experience or diabetes, your thoughts.

Rottweiler experts please help..my 1yr old Rottie's weight gain?

I have a 1 yr old female spayed rottie. She now weighs in at 55lbs. If you go by the rottie growth chart, she should be 70-80lbs. She was the runt of the litter mind you. I'm still concerned, she eats 4-5 cups a day of premium Canidae kibble, she's healthy by vet's standards, so I'm not sure why she has the height, but hasn't yet widened out into that rottie type body. I ran into an 8month old rottie at the dog park yesterday whom i've know as a pup and he's like 80lbs already, and thick.....why is my baby-girl looking more like a doberman than a rottie? Here is what usually happens. The pain and swelling peaks on the third day after the extraction. Then, barring any complications like a dry socket or infection, things will gradually get better on a day to day basis. Follow all the instructions you will get and take your pain pills if needed. I would take at least one and possibly two days off from school afterward. Good luck.

Tried to bleach the black out of my hair..now its red!!!?

I am married to a great guy--but we were married very young. He sort of helped raise me, and I'm four years younger than he is. It took me many years to even become a licensed driver due to this co-dependency. I find that still I am telling him everything I do, getting approval from him in every aspect of my life. How do I check if an ignition coil is bad in my 1997 Ford Taurus Sho V8?

I have a 1997 Ford Taurus Sho V8. It takes forever to start or it starts then dies over and over. Sometimes after it finally starts, it will run for a while perfect then lose power again and dies. I took it to a mechanic shop and was told that one of the ignition coil is bad but they can't tell which one so I would have to change all four. Can the acid in orange juice make you think you have a UTI??

I seem to be very susceptible to UTI's, so I have to pay close attention to certain things I've noticed that can bring one on, like taking bubble baths and such. So, I believe I've noticed that when I drink Orange Juice, the next day or so I have UTI like symptoms, but they go away once it gets out of my system. I hate it when smokers smoke around non-smokers and children. They always seem to think that it isn't a big deal, but it really irks me. Every where is non-smoking where I live, so when people are out(restaurant , movie,etc.) they have to go outside to smoke. I am fine with that, but why do they always have to smoke by the entrances. I always have to walk through their clouds(usually I am out and about with my 1 year old). It really ticks me off. Why can't smokers be more understanding towards non-smokers? We all know how bad it is for you. You never see people using crack right in front of you, and then blowing the smoke in your face.(I am only using crack as an example, because it is a lifestyle choice, as is smoking).

I'm going to be a junior in high school after this summer, live in Oregon, I'm ranked in the top quarter of my cl, 3.5 GPA freshman year, 3.73 GPA sopre year, 3.63 ulative GPA, all on a 4.0 scale, aiming for a 4.0 final two years and I know I will get it, play on the basketball and baseball team and will through high school, 40 hours volunteer work and shooting for 150 by end of high school,2 years of leadership, 2 years as a cl officer(secretary both times), need 24 credits to graduate and i will finish with 31, taking honors english, AP English, AP Biology, AP Calculus(these are all the AP cles my school offers), also took a CP math cl, 3 years of Spanish, 4 years of math, science, and history, shooting for a 2000(or higher) on SAT and a 30 on ACT...If i keep this up, will i get accepted to Northwestern University?

I'd appreciate some input here. I do not need nor do I want opinions, preaching or 'shouda, woulda, coulda's'. I simply would like some intelligent advice. O.K.,,,Here goes. Several years ago (13, to be exact) I relocated to my small rental home that I am still living in. Within a few weeks of occupying my little house, there came to my back door a very forlorn, obviously stray and more obviously pregnant black kitten. I say 'kitten' because she was so small I doubted she was fully grown. I made her as comfortable as I could on the back porch, fed her and went to bed..Upon waking the next morning I discovered she had given birth to one solitary kitten. Oh dear!!, what to do. I made her as comfy as a new mom can be, but I could not bring the new family into my home. The reasons are not important..just be ured that this could not be done. So.. I did the next best thing I could think of. I probably should have minded my own damn business and let mama and baby fend for themselves, but I didn't. Hindsight...etc.... anyway, I bought a chain link kennel, 8'X10' and 4' high. I filled it with fresh hay, an airline crate for shelter and several tree limbs for exercise. It was quite safe and comfortable. I had the kitten, "Snot' ( really was a snotty little brat since he was the only 'kid' neutered and he and mama lived a very secure life. You must understand I live on a county road that is the main artery from point A to point B. Many times I have found some of the other strays I had been feeding had been killed on the road. Stray cats are not known for longevity. Anyway, the years have gone by..Snot and his Mom have been safe and secure in their enclosure.The stray cats come and go. I feed them...they occionally drop a litter and I have adopted (rescued) three kittens from three different abandoned litters. They are all house cats now( spayed/neutered) and beautiful. Meanwhile, Snot and his Mama are apparently doing quite well in the world they have adapted to. Well, all good things must come to an end. Last year, Snot's mama ped away. She was 13 years old. Now Snot is alone. Now he is 13 years old. My problem. I cannot bring him into the house proper. He is too old to expect him to adapt to a life indoors. At the present time I have 4 rescue cats, a rescue greyhound and a geriatric Chihuahua. I have been so tempted to just open his kennel door and let him run free, but then realize he has no skills. He doesn't realize what a highway is or that a car can kill him. Of course I would continue to feed him...at least place his meals inside his kennel and hope he would return to it to eat...but I can't be sure. He cannot protect himself...he is not a fighter. He's been neutered and has no idea that there are male cats who would probably kill him. Then I'm thinking, I have deprived this cat of a free life. A safe life..yes.. a life where he did not have to worry about his next meal...yes. I just don't know what to do. I have just put some fresh Bermuda hay in his kennel...he LOVES fresh hay! What would you do...keep him safe in his kennel??...or...Let him be a cat for once in his life and set him free?? Again..no preaching..I do not need any recriminations..I've already done that enough...

Unless you are very, very, very prone to addiction I think you are good. It would take most people quite a while to build a narcotic addiction with such small doses (I am uming that you are taking either 5mg or 10mg) with such an extended break in between doses. The only real danger is that abusing them now makes them easier to abuse later, but, in all honesty you are not in any danger of addiction. I took 20-30mg oxycodone (percs without the tynenol) almost everyday for about five weeks, and only had minor discomfort for a day after stopping. However, I did end up developing a serious narcotic habit a couple of years later that I had to contend with. Anyway, good luck. Space em out and don't take high doses and you should be good.

Is my workout plan and diet plan going to help me burn my belly fat?

Hi, I have a few questions about burning my belly fat. first off, i am 5'7" and weigh 195 lbs. I have been on a workout plan i came up with for a couple of months now and I have lost about 15 lbs but i still have a good amount of belly fat. I run a mile every day before i work out, and i have increased my time from 9 min to 7 min. On Monday, i do my baseball workout(all shoulder, rotator cuff, and wrist exercises with a 5 lb weight), Abs(crunches, knee crunches, bicycles, toe touches, Plank on Elbows and Toes, ab machine, captains chair, and a couple more i got from a magazine while lifting). On Tuesday I do a full leg workout and Abs. On Wednesday, i do my baseball training, full back workout, and Abs. On Thursday, I do bi's and tri's, and then abs. On friday i do the same thing i do on Monday except add a cardio workout at the end like the bike or elliptical. For my diet, I am having a bowl of cereal with a banana for breakfast, A sandwich on whole wheat bread, and for dinner i either have chicken with vegetables, or a 6 inch sub at subway. I also throw in 2 snacks a day, either being nutrition snack bars, or fruit. I then take the weekend off to rest but still continue with my diet. Now, since i gave my whole workout and diet plan, i want to know if i am doing the right thing to burn the fat on my belly because i know i have a 6 pack but you cant see it because of my belly fat. Am i doing the correct thing? Is there something else i need to do or that i could do to help? Are these exercises helping my metabolic response increase so i can burn my body fat? If anyone could give me some solid advise, that would be awesome! If you took your time to read this, i appreciate it a lot!

I need help with my life.....? (very long)?

I'm only 14 years old (soon to be 15 this year). My day usually starts with me waking up at 6:30-7am. I get out of bed get ready for school, get to the bus. I live in Canada so in the winters it can get to minus 20 here and the bus stop is about a five minute walk. I have 4 cles in school (in order) Math, I like it the teacher makes it fun, French, the only cl I'm having trouble in this semester so far. I used to be in an all french cl (4 years ago) but since then I've forgotten all I know about french verbs, so I think I might fail this cl, I really don't want to take french anymore but my mom and dad say that I need a french credit to get a good job. Them there's english, not doing too shabby if I say so. And then there's Art, I love this cl. for the past 2 years or so I've had very little motivation to do anything involving work. My parents are nice and don't give me too much to do, but I always feel stressed out and alone. I live in our basement and don't come upstairs to say hello, as of recently I have a crush on this girl and am trying to get the courage to ask her out, unfortunately though I'm not a very social person, my grammar sucks, and I don't feel like I'm very smart as I seem to lack motivation to do work and as such get bad grades in cles. My teachers and parents tell me I'm a smart person, but recently I don't know if they're just saying that or what. But back to my daily routine. After school I come home and go to my room look up stuff on the internet. I feel like the internet is the best teacher I will ever meet. I learn so much better through watching/reading/experiencing things on the internet or on my own. I really hate homework and feel as though I"m just wasting my time doing it. I skipped school today because I had a feeling in my gut that told me I shouldn't really go. I'm not into drugs, I don't smoke, drink, or do anything like that. Sometimes I feel like I can never be alone. If I'm feeling overwhelmed things (from school or home) I might end up skipping. Nowadays I'm only really happy when I play video games, sure I can be happy with my family, but we never do things I would like to. I want to have a good life but I don't want to work super hard for everything. I've noticed that if you work really hard for everything in life and get a good education, that these people end up having a bad relationship with there family. And if you didn't work hard in life and didn't get a good job and education the you want to be the businessman. My parent, teacher, and people on this site say to just grow up. But it's so hard to do things that just feel so SOd to achieve. I'm too shy to ask this girl out, I'm not motivated enough to do work, and I feel like my life is falling apart. Again I'm not pushed hard to work 24hrs a day, but I want to enjoy my life while I still can as I hear of people doing so much work when they were in school but just want to be a kid again. I don't want to make that mistake. But I also want to have a good life when I'm grown up. If you guys could offer me some general advice to help me through these dark days that would be good.

A side effect of Prednisone or old age?

I have a fourteen yr old lurcher who has been on prednisone for about two years now. For a while he has had problems with pooping on the floor by accident. Poor fellow gets taken by surprise and just cant hold it in, when he needs to go he just cant hold it in. It seems to be getting more and more frequent just lately. Its distressing for both of us, he gets upset cause he's had an accident an i get exhausted cause i'm often up in the early hours clearing up poop. I take him out for a walk twice a day but it doesnt seem to help.

I put two cooked shrimp (in a little tied up stocking) in my 10 gallon about a week ago, after about 3 weeks of feeding the tank which never seemed to work. The ammonia is up to about 5.0 ppm, but no nitrites yet (using api liquid test kit). This process is so long! How much longer until nitrites show, nitrates? Do I keep the shrimp in there until it's completely cycled? It's starting to smell bad! :( Will the smell go away after the shrimp are taken out?

Question about an extremely aggressive kitten?

I have two cats and just recently took in a new stray kitten that was born in my neighbors garage. She was the runt of the litter and I have had her since March 18. She was only about 4 or 5 weeks old when I took her in and she is extremely vicious. She is very playful but loves to bite hard and scratch.Both of my other cats are afraid of her now because she is so mean and she attacks me constantly. She won't even let anyone pet her without attacking. She looks and acts healthy but she is the meanest kitten I have ever seen in my life.I need to know if maybe she is just being playful, if she is diseased (rabies distemper) or if I took her at too young of an age (she was abandoned) her mom and dad are both strays and wild cats so I'm curious if maybe they just trained her to not trust humans or what? She also licks a lot. Please tell me what could be wrong with her and how can I stop her from biting and scratching? (Can't use water cause I am trying to get her used to being bathed, when I smack her she just bites harder).

What are the steps for fixing rotting sheetrock behind a shwer wall?

Water somehow must of gotten up behind the shower wall and caused mold or mildew behind the caulking. When I went to remove old caulking put re-caulk, I found black crap coming out from under the wall. And then wet sheetrock started coming out. I have a feeling its all rotted and bad back there. Unfortunatly this is our only shower and don't know anyone, personally, to fix it. Someone pleas help!!!

try and limit his intake of gr. allow him to graze only a few times a day and gradually increase his pasture time. call and see if you can get the name of the hay he was eating at his previous stable and buy some so you can wean him down. horses have very sensitive stomachs and any change in feed is likely to cause upset. also I would do lots of reading up on caring for ex race horses. a lot of things with them are different than with most pleasure riding. Pulling back on the reins which usually means stop to my horses will increase speed on a race horse. Do lots of research on rehabilitating ex race horses. also remember that most racehorses are given tons of steroids and performance drugs and will take a while to detox. I would recommend getting a vet out there to do an initial health check. good luck and read up;)

We have been married 22 years and have 2 children (18,20). We both work and make about the same amount of money. I only have a HS diploma and hubby just finished his MBA a couple years ago. My husband pays the mortgage, car payment, cable, phone, gas/electric. and a little of the grocery bills. I pay for water/sewer, car insurance(s), oil changes, majority of the grocery and emergencies money as needed for unplanned repairs or such. Keep telling him to get a better job and that he should be paying all of the bills. He says keeps applying and did look like was going to get a better job right before the economy tanked but they rescinded offer. People I work with agree that he should be paying all of the bills and should get a divorce like many of them are. Then he would have to pay me alimony and I would have all my pay for myself. Also I put away maximum amount for retirement at my work while he only puts in minimum at his work. I told him that he needs to get off his and get a better job or leaving. He tries to tell me that he is trying and does apply and looks every day but he needs to try harder. Also tries to tell me that my retirement is for us that's why he pays the larger bills so I can put more away for future. But friends tell me I would keep my retirement and he would get his and plus would have to pay me alimony. Have told hubby this hoping it would make him work harder at getting a better job rather then lose house and even more money in a divorce. Should I set a time frame with ultimatium?

He's a fascinating, intense actor. I wonder why he isn't an A-list star. Don't get me wrong, he's well-known and has won an Academy Award, but you never hear his name mentioned alongside, say, Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise. His performance as a reforming drug abuser felt very realistic and was devastatingly emotional. And he was of course brilliant in 21 Grams and Traffic (and creepy and intimidating in Sin City). Okay, so im in 8th grade, im 14. Im a 'popular' kid at my school, and all my best friends have GFs. One of my friends is a , Wyatt. He goes out with girls and dumps them and breaks there heart because he feels like it, but then girls give into him when he asks them out again. Another friend i have has been going out with the same girl for maybe a year? Shes a but he isnt, but they make out all the time. Another friend i have is very chubby, but he gets hott girls all the time. He treats them good, but how does he get them? Im not a man , im not fat, and every time i get a GF we stay in a relationship for 1 year at the minimum. I actually talk to them and call them back etc. My friends tell me to just act like them and go out with a girl for a week then your done. Alot of girls like my right now, but i dont like them. I like on in particular and her name is Emma. Of course wyatt went out with her once, but she isnt a . Wyatt tries to get me to not like the 'crusty' emma, but i like her. My new job is dull, and i dont fit in. ive wasted two years,scared of having another depressing year ahead.

my new job is waitressing and its so dull and easy. i dont fit in with anyone else, so im hanging around all day, getting the work done, which my boss says is great but i feel isolated. i do suffer from social problems, and disorders, but i still manage to get by in life, and people usually want to be my friend. though i just have nothing to say to anyone, and tey all talk to eachother and im an outcast. ive been quiet mu whole life, then in turned into a crazy two years of being mentally ill, obsessive, binge eating, and all of this crazy stuff. i dropped college twice, didnt enjoy it, and now when i thought everything was looking up, my workmates dont seem to like me. i dont have any friends right now in my life, so i thought id make new ones but i cant interact. im quite sensible and although a laidback atmosphere in the restaurant may seem quite cool, i actually prefer a serious organised go to work, earn the money, be friendly kind of thing. but its not like that, and if i was sociable i know id enjoy it but im not! im 18, and dont like the idea of uni, plus i love to perform but i have no degrees anyway. ive wasted two years doing nothing. even if i do this job for a year, im scared im going to be depressed agin for another year, plus ive lost all my hope for the future because i have nothing to look forward to. i used to have dreams of being a singer/dancer etc, but now i want to live each day and be happy but i just cant seem to do that! also i made myself all confident for the interview and put on this act when i started and everyone seemed to like the look of me, but by the end of the night it was like everyones views of me had changed. i dont dislike anyone, but i things can irritate me easily. please help me!
